Yesterdays post is related to todays news. NBC decided to not go on with Heroes: Origins because they’re planning something gigantic on Season 3 premiere night:

“We consciously chose to rest [Heroes] this spring so that [creator] Tim Kring and his team could get ahead of the creative and build up to a massive event–a three-hour Heroes night,” Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, said during the network’s upfront presentation to advertisers in New York on April 2. “On Monday, Sept. 15, we’ll kick off with a Heroes clip show to try to bring back the audience and [then air] a massive two-hour Heroes film.”

Yep, you read it right! Two friggin hours!!!

I’ll need to buy more popcorn then.

Since Yaeko’s coming back into Hiro’s life, is Adam Monroe far behind? Viewers know his buried inside a coffin, six feet underground, but heck he’s an immortal right? Let’s hear it from the man (David Anders) himself:

“I believe so, yeah. I hope so. I know I’m going to be in one of the first six [episodes] so,Anders told SyFy Portal’s Alan Stanley Blair at this weekend’s Eclipse event in the United Kingdom. “But after that, it’s called “Villains,” and I am an uber-villain.”

The 3rd Season is supposed to be where the villains get to show off more of their powers and influence over our heroes.

We’ll see what happens when he meets up with Hiro again.

The girlfriend from Feudal Japan will return on Season 3. No, Hiro won’t be going back to the past, she’ll be going to the present! Yep, folks through the magic of NBC, she’ll be time teleported from the 17th Century to the present and screw with our heroes minds and hearts.

Tamura said that her character, Taeko, was supposed to be transported to the present in episodes that were scripted but not finished before the writers’ strike commenced last fall. “I am going to be in the present, yes,” Tamura said in an interview.

“I actually had a few episodes of the script then,” Tamura said, adding: “Suddenly, the strike happened, so we had to stop the shooting.”

Tamura added that she expects to return to the show for the upcoming third season, which begins production in May.

“We are not to that point where they think about the storylines yet … because of the strike,” Tamura said.

So more time travelling adventures with Yaeko and Hiro on Season 3!
